Portfolio Company News: Zoes Kitchen
Zoës Kitchen, a Brentwood Associates portfolio company, will open another restaurant to bring Mediterranean comfort food with a Southern twist to the Main Line, a region of suburban Philadelphia, reports the Main Line Times.
“That Mediterranean model, as has been much remarked, is a healthy one to start,” according to the article. “Zoës Kitchen reinforces that good foundation, according to Jackie Flaherty, national catering, sales and marketing manager, by making its dishes fresh from scratch at each store each day and focusing on close-to-the-garden ingredients.”
Since March, four Zoës Kitchen have opened in Philadelphia-area locations to lines out the door. The Main Line Zoës will bring the chain to more than 80 locations in more than a dozen states.
