Eric joined Brentwood in 1999. Presently, Eric serves as a Director of ClassWallet, Excelligence Learning Corp., Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics, KeyMe, L-Nutra, Soft Surroundings, The Great Courses, and Watermill Express. Previously, he served as a Director of Boston Proper, SAXX Underwear, Spectrum Clubs, Sundance Holding Company, Wiland and was active in the sale of Bell Automotive in late 2004, Oriental Trading Company in 2006 and Array Marketing Group in 2012.
Prior to joining Brentwood, Eric worked in the merchant banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where his primary responsibilities included analyzing and structuring investments for the $3 billion DLJMB II L.P. private equity fund. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and operation and information management from the Wharton School of Business.
Eric currently serves as a member of the University of Pennsylvania Libraries Board of Advisors. Previously, he was a member of both the Undergraduate Financial Aid Leadership Council and the Penn Fund Executive Board, the University of Pennsylvania’s undergraduate annual giving program. Eric also currently serves as a trustee of the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation, which provides leadership and financial support to Providence Saint John’s Health Center, Saint John’s Cancer Institute and Pacific Neuroscience Institute. In addition, from 2013 to 2022, Eric served on the Board of Trustees of The John Thomas Dye School, an elementary day school serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
